USA 800 has three call centers located in the Midwest: Kansas City, Missouri; St. Joseph, Missouri; and Halstead, Kansas. Our Kansas City headquarters location was recently renovated and expanded to include an additional 160 seats and also houses our 24 X 7, state of the art, command center.
USA 800 has the ability to handle after hours, overflow, and peak volume call flows across all three centers and never transfers any calls overseas. To callers, however, USA 800 acts as one center, where calls are routed seamlessly between all three centers using AT&T’s Route-It platform and eVPN IP Network. These two technologies along with our Nortel Contact Center Server 7.0 solution effectively queue and distribute calls among our call centers. This same network architecture also provides redundancy in the event of a natural disaster or outage, as well as provides the same capability for our clients other locations.
All 900+ call center workstations are ergonomically spaced and designed. Each workstation is equipped with a Dell computer running Windows XP and flat panel monitors, all designed for maximum agent productivity.
